As a parent, it’s undoubtedly a worrying time when your child injures themselves and breaks a bone. The NHS provides fantastic, timely fracture care through A&E departments and orthopaedic fracture clinics.

If however you have health insurance or wish to be seen in a private hospital, or even obtain a second opinion from a paediatric expert, we offer a paediatric fracture follow up service. This can involve clinical assessment, xrays, plaster cast changes and switching to removable splints and boots if appropriate. Fracture surgery however, is generally still performed in the NHS system if needed.
